Retail Store Manager Pittsburgh PA (McKnight Rd)
Position Description
Develops and leads a professional retail sales team to ensure achievement of store/kiosk revenue targets, operational goals and 100% customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Supervises the overall daily operation of a store including hiring, discipline, and scheduling of employees to ensure cost effective and quality Store Operations. Ensures customer satisfaction. Maintains inventories at adequate levels, promotes sales, and maintains the appearance of the store. Completes accounting and paperwork associated with cash receipts and prices and conducts physical inventories. Meets assigned sales performance and profitability criteria. Sets appropriate individual performance standards for the store/kiosk in line with national standards. Develops, implements and monitors a store prospecting plan to increase sales. Facilitates and participates in weekly staff training/educational sessions to increase knowledge, create high levels of motivation, and inspire team to achieve results. Establishes and monitors store/kiosk work schedules and staffing issues to effectively manage payroll expenses. Exhibits a high level of leadership presence within all aspects of the business and other internal departments. Effectively manages profit and loss responsibility for store/kiosks and protects company assets. Analyzes various business reports for trend analysis and strategic planning purposes. Responsible for all functions of the retail store/kiosk to include sales, customer service, inventory, and technical troubleshooting. Maintains internal visual merchandising and in-store displays and ensures store appearance meets company standards at all times. Analyzes transactions to continuously find methods to simplify procedures, improve processes, and maximize resources.
Position Qualifications
3-5 years management experience in the telecommunications and/or retail industry. 3-5 years sales experience, including prospecting, telemarketing and/or outside sales. Excellent sales skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards. Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax. Ability to work at multiple locations within district preferred. Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred or equivalent experience required.
