Engineer IV RF

Position Description

Senior RF Engineer will have responsibilities of maintaining the GSM frequency plan and the UMTS scrambling code plan. Perform advanced frequency planning strategies using the Optimi AFP tool. Identify sites that are causing interference and engage design and performance engineers to maximize the performance of those sites. Implementation of frequency/scrambling code plans on the Ericsson OSS. Generate reports regarding the performance of the frequency plan.

Position Qualifications

5 years of wireless GSM and/or UMTS experience. Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Access), SQL, and MapInfo. BSEE. Strong effective prioritization and organizational skills; solid interpersonal communications skills are important.
