Sr. Technical Director

Position Description

This position is focused on the development and delivery of service and support application business requirements.
Principal Accountabilities:

• Represent the Service and Support group in internal and cross-business strategy meetings, identifying Service and Support impacts and determining support requirements
• Work closely with all team members to understand current workload to maintain proper project staffing and resource allocation
• Develop the capabilities of the requirements team to understand business operations, business and IT strategy, and overall technology capabilities
• Assist in recommending business priorities and advising business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of different solutions
• Deliver ongoing project status to manager regarding all projects as they relate to this focus area
• Defines tools and templates for enterprise business requirement gathering and documentation
• Provide oversight for meetings with key stakeholders and business owners to understand and review enterprise business requirements, technology capabilities, and performance
• Oversee testing preparation ensuring requirements are tested accurately and completely
• Work with internal and external groups to help mitigate any potential project issues and risks
• Manage internal business relationships with CXT, IT, Technology and PMO
• Act as a primary liaison for escalation management as it relates to this focus area
• Manage external vendor relationship for business requirement development
• Manage a team, providing development plans and delegating work assignments and handling A&D feedback/reviews
• Proactively share / leverage successful processes, tools, and best practices across the organization
• Contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging prior experience and lessons learned
• Participate in and support process improvement initiatives

Position Qualifications

Experience managing people preferred.

Strong communication skills and ability to present to various levels of leadership.
